I don't get frame stutter, but the osd overlay fade-out isn't 100% smooth
outputting via a PVR-350.

Stability is worlds better for me this time around than when I had my 350 in a
different machine, using some older drivers and just the frame-buffer for X.
I'm now using ivtv 0.1.9 with several patches (all the ones in the ATrpms
version, plus Matthias' prepdma patch) and the ivtvdev X driver.

Noise reduction (and geek coolness factor) were my big reasons for going
diskless on this one. Unfortunately, the case fan in the Travla C137 is quite
loud... I'm going to get an inline resistor to slow it down. The case gets
rather hot without it, but I don't think I need as much airflow as it tries
to move, since there's no HD or CD/DVD drive in there...
