[mythtv-users] Framebuffer error

Just upgraded mythtv 0.14 to 0.15 with Gentoo emerge.
Now I get this when I try to watch tv:

I'm running in X-windows, I dont have a /dev/fb0 setup, does it really need
to run a framebuffer driver. I noticed it loads a DirectFB patch when I emerge
(gentoo installer) mythtv.
0.14 was running fine I just upgraded to get the guide data.
There must be something I'm missing.
