Actually, my problem isn't with the K7S5A at all.  It's with the DFI
KM400-MLV.  My sound acts the same regardless of what software I'm
using.  I can use MythTV, mplayer, etc, and the same thing happens.  I
have no sound out of the back jacks, but the front-mounted headphone
jack works fine.
