I used to run a Toshiba directv hdtv system here. Now running dishnetwork. I
origionally started with the ShowShifter software under windows and I used a
MyBlaster brand IR blaster. It worked well on the hd set-top under windows.
When I changed over to MythTV I discovered that there was no support for
MyBlaster so I ended up writing my own serial port driver for it. If you are

me on the subject.
