Granted - the 9200 is very nice indeed under Linux. I just have a bugbear
against ATI cos I was badly bitten by their atrocious drivers a while ago,
and I like my OpenGL screensavers :^) I was also initially put off by the
fact that all the 9200's I could lay my hands on at the time I needed a gfx
card were all actively cooled.

Mine too, but I don't know if I could stand the smugness emanating from
Richard Stallman if that happened ;^) Seriously though, I'd love it if they
could open the specs enough to make a "nowhere near as good as the Magic
Closed Source Proprietary Magic Drivers that we, the godlike company, make;
but more than good enough for those of you that don't insist on

in Doom3" driver... but look, I'm dreaming again...
