I'm not sure what else to try, but to uninstall the drivers, you can
boot to single user mode (the process for this will vary depending on
your boot loader), which *should* prevent the driver from loading.  From
that point, you can remove the RPM or otherwise uninstall the driver.
You might also leave the system booting into runlevel 3 (/etc/inittab)
until you can get the drivers loading cleanly via insmod/modprobe.
