I have been able to play nuv files in windows before
before, although I have not tried since I upgraded to
myth .15 I am using a PVR-250 running on FC1.

When I did this before I merely copied the nuv file
from my myth box to my windows box and renamed it to
end with .mpg instead of .nuv

Now (post .15) when I do it I get errors indicating
that it can't understand the format. My goal is to
have an MPEG-2 file that I can play in media player,
or burn to a DVD via windows.

As a test I can the mplayer command from the command
line :
mplayer
/video250/recording/1033_20040618190000_20040618193000.nuv

This was the output (and yes the file did play). Any
ideas on what I need to do to play it in windows?
