echo "accoustic:0" > /proc/ide/hda/settings
Turned on full accoustic management on my 7200.7, although it 
didn't stop the seeking, just made it a lot quieter.  For some reason, 
tweaking the accoustic management setting using hdparm didn't work but 
doing it directly did.
