That's okay. But at least I use /dev/fb0 there and then I can simply
not use the monitor for virtual consoles, because everything is on
the framebuffer /dev/fb0,  and not even text-consoles are working on
the monitor (which I would love to have ;-)

Well - I have the problem currenty that the box sometimes just
freezes - doesn't do anything on the TV (just the freezed picture),
no ping via network, nothing. And of course no oops-message or so
since I do not have a console where he could write it to. That's why
I'd like to have the monitor there, to see the alert- and
kernelpanicmessages if there are any.
