It's been forever since I've had to do it, but I believe the last time I
had to reset a cranky cable box by powercycling the power strip behind the
TV, the TV came back on. I also know that we once lost power for several
hours and had the TV come on in the middle of the night when power was
finally restored. Yay Sony!

I hope that's not the case, but it's something to watch, thanks.

I hope to avoid IR Blasters entirely, as I'd rather have everything nice
and clean.
