hmm, after a bit more investigation it appears that the
nvidia-graphics4363-kmdl-2.4.22-1.2174.nptl_38.rhfc1.at
has not been built yet.

It look like the 38 versions just came out today...(Im guessing Axel Builds these)

as such Im guessing the 38 nvidia kernel version will probably be out in the next couple of days...

and..what the hell does nptl/rhfc standfore anyways?

This is clean install from a fresh Fedora Core 1 install.

Anways things have been going great until, step 8) Get and install Video Drivers

running--> apt-get install nvidia-graphics4363-kmdl-$MYKERNEL
gives me:

Couldn't find package nvidia-graphics4363-kmdl-2.4.22-1.2174.nptl_38.rhfc1.at

note:  Step 7 I had to update to point to the newer the kernal version 2174, instead of the 
one in the how-to: kernel#2.4.22-1.2166.nptl_35.rhfc1.at

ps. my hardware
nforce Mb,  with a geforce 3 card installed, and of course the pvr-350
I'm planning on using the pvr-350 for the tv-out.

Any suggestions on what I should do next greatly appreciated :)

p.s. 
Im also getting warnings with apt-get update returning:

Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

could this be the cause?
