[mythtv-users] 8 seconds to change channel on a PVR350? normal

I have a PVR-250 that had a similiar issue. I noticed that when I
increased the quality under the Recording Profiles for LIVE TV, the
channel changing time was decreased. I figured maybe this was because the
hardware has to do less compression and the video stream is closer to raw
format. Of course this makes for more disk I/O and the buffer fills up
quicker, but it did make a differences for me. It takes about 2-3 seconds
and used to take 4-5.

regards,
Ryan
