i have my sky digibox connected to my mythtv pc
works pretty well
i have the s-video and audio out on the back of my (grundig) digibox 
connected to my huappauge pvr350
i get listing data from the bbc using tv_grab_uk_rt
i control the digibox using a cable i bought from 
http://www.redremote.co.uk/serial/
worked out of the box.
incidentially, i tidied up the code they supply and wrote a makefile if 
anyone is interested
