All DVD burners in the house (3) are capable of burning DVD+ which are
read perfectly by
- all DVD readers in the computers
- the DVD-R video recorders present

So whats the deal? Also most DVD burners today handle both DVD-R(W) as
well as DVD+R(W).
The new ones will take a bit of time. Look at your requirements and make
a decision. If your requirement is backup, in order to be able to view
from computer based equipment, there's no reason to wait. As with all
computer equipment: after a month you will find you could have had a
better deal....

Cheers,

Rudy
