A little update: I've managed to get audio by using ptune-ui.pl for changing channel.
(Maybe this could adjust things also for the other person who had the same problem?)

Now my only problem is how to manage to drive things from within myth
(i.e., I believe, how to populate myth database with italian channels...
if there is any document explaining how to do it please give me a 
pointer...)
