I have MythTV up and running on the Digimatrix, it runs well and the
system is absolutely tiny and very quiet.

Total cost of my system was about $720 from ZipZoomFly.com for a 2.4
Ghz, 160 gig, 512 megs ram system. Considering how much hardware the
Digimatrix has built in (CD-R/DVD, 7-in1 card reader, WiFi, TV tuner, FM
Tuner, HDTV out, remote) and the fact that it is in such a tiny custom
case I don't think it was such a terrible deal. My biggest gripe is that
the optical SPDIF out is on the *front* of the case which is just a
terrible design choice :)

Everything except for the LCD screen, volume control and remote are
working under linux. I haven't had much time to work on it as I am in
the middle of a move, but as soon as I get settled down I will be back
at it. Most of the chips used in the system are relatively well known,
so hopefully it shouldn't be too difficult. (although if anyone has any
contacts in Asus that would be useful :)
