I agree that a forum and a mailing list is redundant. One or the other.
We have a mailing list - lets not have a forum too. (My $0.02)

In my experience as a Myth newbie, I *already* had to look for
documentation "all over the place". There was myth.org, Jarod's Guide
and the mail archive. But because the its nature the mail archive is
very disorganised. The same topic is covered in various aspects spread
over many threads over a long time.

E.g. when trying to get mythfilldatabase, tv_grab_<non-NA> and channel
changing to work, I ended up with 3435458 open browser windows
struggling to organise it in my head. I ended up posting my experiences,
but have since gotten wiser, and have contributed more snippets in
various different threads. Now in all future threads I can simply refer to:

http://mythtv.info/moin.cgi/XmlTv/MythChannelSetup

and all threads will contain the exact same updated information (with
version history, of course!) I think this is *SO* excellent!
