[mythtv-users] Accessing a mounted drive... why?

Hey all,

When I go into Mythtv after not being in it for awhile (frontend and backend
running already) and go in to see what has been recorded, there is a pause as
it starts to show the preview in the bottom right... which is fine. The
strange part is that I hear the drives on my file server spin up (different
machine). Now I dont store video on the fileserver, but mythmusic and
mythgallery have music and photos on there. The SQL DB is also local and not
on the fileserver.

Why would mythtv want to get at the remote mounts when I am not in mythmusic
or gallery?

Another question: What DB tables does mythtv use to track what has been
recorded that should not be recorded again if it is shown? I made a bad
choice on a few episodes and what to clear them out of the database. Could
not find a flag that said "Do not record again"...

Thanks much,

Oh, Its a CVS install from a week ago about...

Bill
