I use Sky in the UK through a PVR350 through s-video (ie not the tuner)
and these:
options ivtv tuner=1 ivtv_pal=1 ivtv_debug=1
options tuner type=1
options msp3400 once=1 simple=1
options saa7127 enable_output=1 output_select=1 pal=1
/usr/local/bin/test_ioctl -u 0xff -v input=1,output=1
module options/test_ioctl works for me
