[mythtv-users] bt878, no sound from card

Hello,

While moving from SuSE to gentoo, I appear to have forgotten how to make my TV 
card work ;-) xawtv shows me a channel tuned in, but there is no sound output 
from the back of the card. What is likely to cause this?
