Jim,

What revision is the MCE card? If it's the 'Rosalyn' board, then it wont
work with KnoppMyth as ivtv doesn't support is. Heres a link to a forum
post in the SHSPVR IvyTV forums.

Have you tried switching the ide slots that things are plugged into?

Sorry, but that's the only thing I can think of.

Subject: [mythtv-users] 2 WinTV cards on Asus w/ VIA chipset

Hello again everybody,

I currently have an ASUS ASU-A7V8X-X with a WinTV 250 card and an NVIDIA
GX440 and have been trying to install the new PVR-250MCE from ebay. I
am aware of issues with the VIA chipset motherboards. I'm running
knoppmyth 4.2. The system freezes or hangs when the card is being
recognized at bootup, after an IRQ sharing message. No matter what I
set the IRQ to, in the BIOS, on that PCI slot with the PVR250MCE, it
seems to always share the IRQ with the NVIDIA card and always hang.
I've tried passing some boot parameters like "noacpi" but the same
thing happens. I've tried many different IRQ settings for each PCI
slot, and moved the card around but still, it hangs.
I can boot into single user mode without a problem.
Any ideas on how to get the PVR-250MCE along with the WinTV250 to work
together in this system?

Thanks,

Jim
