Are you sure the "Failed to run 'cdrecord --scanbus'" is the cause of
the segfault?

I get the same message whenever I start mythmusic. Then I run 'Scan for
music' and get a segfault. But I got that segfault in .14 as well and I
assumed it was due either to my SMB share, large collection, or wonky
filenames.

Have you turned on logging to database? (I haven't) But I assume that
might tell you a little more.
