[mythtv-users] Please help - sound issue

I'm really close to having my Myth box working after
many long hours. (I'm fairly new to linux) I've
searched high and low and can't seem to find any info
on my problem. I have an Audigy 1 sound card and I
can't for the life of me figure out how to get sound
working with live or recorded tv.  I installed the
alsa driver and I have sound within KDE, sound playing
DVDs through the myth interface and I even get sound
from a DVD I ripped using Myth.

When I go into alsamixer or gnome-alsamixer if I
unmute "Line" I hear the tv tuner feed, which is good.
 However, I have no option to set any channel to
capture. There is a slider for Analog Mix and I've
turned it up but I still don't hear sound with live
tv. 

My tuner is based on the Brooktree bt878 chip.

Any help is greatly appreciated,
