You need to specify cardtype=1 or cardtype=2 on ivtv, depending on your
revision. I recall you had maybe a revision 1 card from a previous
post?

Good news, making progress... I can now modprobe ivtv, but when I do, it
just sits there at initializing.. Here is the info you asked for
earlier.
[root at myth-be1 root]# rpm -qa kernel-module-ivtv\*
kernel-module-ivtv-2.4.22-1.2188.nptl_48.rhfc1.at-0.1.10-33_pre2_ck66b.r
hfc1.at
[root at myth-be1 root]# uname -r
2.4.22-1.2188.nptl_48.rhfc1.at
[root at myth-be1 root]# rpm -qa ivtv\*
ivtv-firmware-2.02.023-3.at
ivtv-0.1.10-33_pre2_ck66b.rhfc1.at
And finally, here is the output from attempting to modprobe:
[root at myth-be1 root]# modprobe -va ivtv & [1] 3239
[root at myth-be1 root]# /sbin/insmod
