Yeah, i figured. But what i wasnt sure of was if lirc could talk to a 
receiver hooked up to the PVR, or if i needed a serial port (Reason was that 
my electronic part dealer is a wayyyyyy off from me, and i dont go there 
often, so i wanted to make sure i ddint need anything else)
