Dreambox and animo are MIPS based linux boxes primarily used for DVB
with Mpeg decoder with composite/RGB outs,  IR Remote control, Ethernet,
USB etc etc . The Dream box is about 400 Dollors and the basic animo 100
Dollors.  On a simple level they can mount the NFS and decode myth
recordings, thats a very small, quite and cheap mythfrontend (ish) box.

How else do you run Mythfrontend?  On windows?

Actually, have you checked out the mediamvp project at 
sf.net?  http://mvpmc.sf.net.  

It is in heavy development, so you'll need to roll your sleeves 
up and get a bit dirty to get it working correctly.
