[mythtv-users] Can't watch TV with MythTV and Asus V7100 Combo - Riva TV

Hey Guys,

Having a lot of trouble trying to Watch TV with my MythTV setup. I've
got a PIII 700 running with an Asus V7100 Combo.

I can watch TV using XawTV -noxv but I have noticed that I can't record
in XawTV. I'm using the latest RivaTV drivers to run the tuner and card.

In MythTV Everything is working except the TV watching part of it. When
I try to watch TV, I get:

VIDIOCMCAPTURE0: Invalid Argument
VIDIOCMCAPTURE1: Invalid Argument

About a hundred times a second scrolling in the mythbackend terminal. I
get a black screen, sound kicks in but I get no OSD and I can't seem to
change channels or anything. In the system Log I get:

Nov 17 10:40:10 localhost kernel: rivatv: V4L: Requested IOCTL
(0x800476C6) not implemented

I've put the rest of the log below in case what I've highlighted is not
the problem. I was thinking maybe I should uninstall RivaTV and just use
bttv on its own. Will that work? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
I'm a bit of a n00b when it comes to Linux as I'm just learning but if
you need more info to help me along the way, just let me know!

Thanks,
Dennis.
