[mythtv-users] MythBrowser question

I use MythBrowser a bit and am experiencing a problem when adding web 
pages to view.
It seems I can add anything like "http://...." but if I try to add 
something like "file://...", "http://"
gets prepended resulting in "http://file://...".  Is MythBrowser not 
capable of dealing  with
local files or is there a way to disable this behavior?
