Well, I don't know if it makes a big difference but I didn't use the --manual switch.  I guess I
should mention here that I'm a relative nenewbo Linux and MyMythTV Having mentioned that, I
checked the channel numbers in mymythsetupnd all the numbers were indeed numeric.
