Hm, it should... Odd. Maybe give apt a try for those, see if it fares any
better. Only once before have I seen apt or yum get confused like that, and
it was when I moved an entire install from an i686 box to an athlon box (back
in the FC1 days). Despite removing the i686 kernel and only having an athlon
kernel on the box, I still got i686 kernels. Maybe you had an i586 kernel at
some point, and the utils got confuzzled? I dunno... I never did figure out
how the hell to make things behave on that box, I ended up nuking the
install. :-\
