[mythtv-users] pvr ivtv woes

Upon first time using mythtv after a reboot I can watch tv without issue (aside from the fact that all I get is snow, but I think that may be unrelated).  However, if I stop watching tv and try to go back to watching tv the myth will freeze and the following is in the terminal window that I started mythfrontend:

In the terminal window where mythbackend is runnig I get the following:

I am using Mandrake 9.1 default install (kernel 2.4.21-0.13mdk) and a pvr-250 with ivtv driver 0.1.10-pre2-ck100z output from dmesg:
