Sorry to break it to you, but with a pvr-x50 you cannot transcode back 
to mpeg2, just to mpeg4 or RTjpeg.  There is possibly a way however to 
do it with nuvexport, but its a bit convoluted  and I've yet to manage 
to get it to work.
