The above and below syntax doesn't work on FC2, you have to use install and 
post-install (same in FC3, its a 2.6 kernel thing, I believe).

With bttv, you shouldn't need that install line at all, those modules should 
always be automatically loaded along with bttv. Try removing that line 
completely. Actually, I'd have simply:

# bttv
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 bttv

Everything else should be auto-detected, the (bt8x8 version of the) WinTV Go 
is one of the best-supported bttv cards out there. Your msp3400 line could be 
the actual cause of the problems.
