I thought I read some place that I was not supposed to have channel
listings or run mythfilldatabase on a slave backend. Do I need to drop
the listings? I thought I also read some place that it said you should
not have some sources defined on the slave backend as well. To make
sure I was clear the master backend I now have running that I wish to
convert to a slave backend is fully functional and recording things,
probably as we speak. It is also configured identically to the other
master backend down to the partition layout. I know that I will need to
use nuvexport to dump the recordings I have in the box now and move
them to other box, but what other steps do I need to take besides
tweaking master server IP address? I have changed that setting in the
settings database and restarted 'mythbackend' but I ended up with an
unhappy backend that still thought it was a master according to the
logs. Does the slave backend use the local disk for any video/audio
storage?
