Oh and one other thing, which I forgot to mention... after rebooting and exiting the MythTV frontend, my system completely froze... so Now I snagged that whole lirc out of it again. Does anyone have similar problems?

  1. having installed my ATI remote wonder as described on Jarod's guide (and its link to litwiller), I came to the conclusion that only the numeric and alpha keys on the remote work (0-9 and a-b) among with a few others (the ok button seems to work as well). However, I cannot get the pause key  (for example) to work with mythtv. The mappings in the lircrc file looked correct. Any ideas on this?

  2. After rebooting my ATI remote stops working, I can get it to run again by modprobing it again and starting the service again... Might this be because lirc tries to start prior to some sort of usb driver?

  Thanks in advance for any help on this, I'd really like my ATI remote to work!
