Hmmm...

Just checked that link to my test.mpg, and it actaully displayed a picture!
When I launch it locally, it shows just a green background.
No sound in either, but that is secondary at this point.

Here is my well abused xorg.conf.

TV is currently not connected in anyway to the PC.

Also, when I clicked the link, xine fired up, not mplayer.

Another thing I wish is that I could reply directly on gossmer-threads. 
I have an aversion to 150 emails a day, but enjoy online postings.
Another day, another battle.

Anyway, I know that this xorg.conf is screwy, but it has been thru a 
battle or two. Is there a doctor in the house?
