Not so. There are different chipsets used in various places, most
notably, the TV out chipset. That said, I've used a number of different
PNY and Chaintech cards, all without problems. The only one I had major
problems with was a really cheap Jaton card that produced miserable
output on a TV. I've heard at least one similar report w/a PNY card
though...

I'm very partial to Chaintech cards (I think I now have five Chaintech
cards and two PNY), and I've never heard anyone w/a bad report about
the output from a Chaintech card. PNY should be pretty safe too though.
