[mythtv-users] No Signal on WinTV GO

I'm pulling my hair out here and am hoping someone can help me out. I've scoured google, myth lists, linux lists, etc to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm sure its something small, hopefully it will jump out at someone on the list... 
Through MythTV (LiveTV or Record viewing) I'm getting static. I tested my line (connected the cable to a TV and validated signal). I jave an ATI 8500 DV but given much of my research, it would appear that is not a viable option for capture on MythTV so I went out and purchased a WinTV Go card. After following quite a few instructions and recommendations from my research, I got the bttv driver stuff installed in my 2.6 (gentoo) kernel so I have a /dev/video0 device now on my system. I cat the device and it is definitely sending information. I installed xawtv to get some raw processing (prior to running against Myth) and still had static. Issued a scantv command (through xawtv) and received a whole bunch of no signal messages. Here is where I stand on some of the diagnostic / config information:
