[mythtv-users] Lirc Problems - could not open /dev/lirc

Check and see if the modules (lirc_dev and lirc_i2c) are loaded:

# lsmod

If it is, then you might just need to manually create the device node.
For a pvr250 this should be:

# mknod /dev/lirc c 61 0

If it's not, you probably need to (re)build lirc to include support
for the pvr250...
