Since it sounds like my problem might involve ivtv I went ahead and
tried reinstalling it and I'm getting a peculiar message:

warning: package kernel-module-ivtv-2.4.22-1.2199.nptl =
1:0.1.9-27.rhfc1.at was already added, replacing with
kernel-module-ivtv-2.4.22-1.2199.nptl <=
1:0.1.10-48_pre2_ck100zz.rhfc1.at
        /lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2199.nptl/updates/drivers/media/video/msp3400.o
is needed by kernel-module-ivtv-2.4.22-1.2199.nptl-0.1.10-48_pre2_ck100zz.rhfc1.at
E: Transaction set check failed

So I check the directory that it mentions and there is no msp3400.o
file there. However, I did find msp3400.o in this directory:

/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2199.nptl_52.rhfc1.at/kernel/drivers/media/video/msp3400.o

I don't know if that will help, but just incase. As always, thank you
very much for your help.

Brian
