Support for the EPIA's cle266 chipset is getting pretty good, I'm actually 
planning to yank my 350 out of my EPIA and finally start playing with the 
unichrome driver (the entire system is just on the shelf right now anyhow)...

I share your opinion. :-) While I can tell that standard-def programming is a 
little sharper through the 350, it isn't what I'd call much better quality 
than a good nVidia card here either. But I think that's the key -- not all 
nVidia-based cards are created equal. I know some people have tried to claim 
they are all the same, but that just isn't true.

In particular, there are different TV-out encoders used on various 
nVidia-based cards, which is likely where the biggest discrepancy in TV 
viewing quality comes from. I've seen miserable results from one GeForce 4 MX 
that were remedied by switching to a different GeForce 4 MX in the past.
