[mythtv-users] MCE IR Blaster?

I came across this post a few days ago. 
(http://mythtv.org/pipermail/mythtv-users/2004-February/033569.html)  It 
says that there isn't any Linux support for the IR blaster that comes 
with the MCE remote, but it is coming soon.

Just curious - is there any movement on it?  I seem to be hacing trouble 
finding an IR blaster that will work my my setup and, since I have the 
MCE remote already, it would just make sense to use this.
