 I dearly love mutt and use it for all my serious/read-write type email.
Gmail is good for email that I mostly just read ('cause I can do it with
just a mouse, leaving me free to put my feet up), rarely reply ('cause 
I hate typing anything outside of vi), and don't care if stuff gets lost.
