[mythtv-users] MythTV on AMD64 Gentoo

Seemless, except that you cannot mix 32 and 64 in the same runtime
image, and means, as I understand it:

1. no 32bit modules in a 64bit kernel (and vice versa)
2. no 64bit binaries run while running a 32bit kernel
3. no 32bit libs linked into a 64bit program (and vice versa)
4. no 32bit programs runtime linked with 64bit ld-linux.so, that's
what /emul is for.

The emulation isn't really that, as such. It provides a linker and libs
for those apps that are 32bit, because of rule #3.

...if I'm not 100% right, I'm right enough to help some of the more
confused people.
