Most bizarre:

[root at mythbox]# apt-get -V dist-upgrade
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Calculating Upgrade... Done
The following packages have been kept back
   mythtv-suite (0.15.1-40.at => 0.16-42.at)
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 removed and 1 not upgraded.

So I tried installing the package directly and got this:

[root at mythbox]# apt-get install mythtv-suite
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  mythtv-suite: Depends: mythtv (>= 0.16) but 0.15.1-75.rhfc1.at is to
be installed
                Depends: mythtv-backend (>= 0.16) but 0.15.1-75.rhfc1.at
is to be installed
                Depends: mythtv-frontend (>= 0.16) but
0.15.1-75.rhfc1.at is to be installed
                Depends: mythtvsetup (>= 0.16) but 0.15.1-75.rhfc1.at is
to be installed
                Depends: mythmusic (>= 0.16) but 0.15.1-59.rhfc1.at is
to be installed
                Depends: mythvideo (>= 0.16) but 0.15.1-55.rhfc1.at is
to be installed
                Depends: mythweb (>= 0.16) but 0.15.1-62.rhfc1.at is to
be installed
E: Broken packages

Have I got a broken sources.list or cache or something else? I've also
noticed that whenever a new kernel comes out it picks the wrong one (ie
not the atrpms one with XFS changes etc)

Thanks for any help
J.
