[mythtv-users] LiveTV goes blank and mythfrontend hangs

I just installed 0.16 on my Gentoo Linux machine (running 2.4.27).  I followed
one of the gentoo wiki's for the installation process.

That aside, everything seems to run fine with the exception of receiving the
LiveTV feed.  I can play back music using mythmusic or even view other files I
already had stored on one of my partitions.  I have proper hardware detection
and all my appropriate modules load just fine without errors.

I had the same problem with 0.15 (I just got my PVR-350 2 days and I have since
been trying to get this all to work together).  After installtion 0.16, i
switched debug to all.  Hopefully this will make more sense to one of you guys
than me:

Now mythfrontend is hung and won't even let me force exit X
(ctrl+alt+backspace).  The machine is not hung though because I can still
connect via ssh and X is using some 95% cpu.

Perhaps someone can point me in the right direction.  Thanks a lot for you time.
