[mythtv-users] Anybody tried prelink?

Been having a gander about, and came across prelink, which claims to enable 
faster loading of C++ apps - namely mythfrontend, mythbackend and a few 
other thingies.

Has anyone tried it? Did it give a decent startup improvement? Is it worth 
having a shot at?

Not that I'm very worried about speed... once the BIOS has done it's thing, 
I'm up to a login prompt in 30 seconds (still need to find some way of 
doing autologin, damnit)... I just wondered if it was worth trying out.
