[mythtv-users] Live TV Plays Fine, Can't play back Pre-Recorded Shows

Live TV plays just fine. I can even watch the pre-recorded shows with 
mplayer. When I go to watch a recording, I get this:

That BadAlloc error floods my stderr, several times per second.

Any theories? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
