[mythtv-users] Best approach for TV output (composite/s-video)?

Some guidelines applicable as of date:

- If you're buying a box with a builtin tvout and you want to run latest
distros then don't go for ATI. Their closed source drivers suck. SiS and
Nvidia is your best bet with plenty of support. I've heard Via is pretty
good as well.

- If you already have a builtin tvout, then go for a PVR250. If you don't
then use PVR350. I must warn you tho that X looks a bit odd on TV and you
can't adjust overscan. Picture quality is crisp and myth looks great. I've
a pundit-r (ati I know) and I'm usinf FC2's ati drivers.

PVR X50 comes with all sorts of converters - but you should be able to buy
one for cheap.
