[mythtv-users] kernel 2.6 works with ivtv, but mythtv loses channels

May be a problem with your 2.6 kernel module.  Please post the output of 
so we can verify:

tac /var/log/messages |
sed -n '/=  END INIT IVTV  =/,/= START INIT IVTV =/p;
          /= START INIT IVTV =/q' |
tac
